AwakenHiddenSkills is run by Terry Masters and Sonya Donohoe.

Terry Masters has considerable experience in Interior Design and Curtain Treatments.  She trained at the National Design Academy studying Professional Interior Design and Professional Curtain Making and Soft Furnishings and at Newbury College for Upholstery. Terry has had her own Interior Design company for over 12 years.  She also has a professional business background having worked in London and overseas.

Sonya Donohoe for many years worked in a commercial environment, specialising in sales, marketing and PR, as well as    being responsible for staff training and development.  Sonya has an Honours Degree, together with further qualifications from the London Business School, The Leadership Trust and Ashridge Management College amongst others.

Our key course focuses on Curtain Design and Window Treatments.  Courses run from one to five days – the choice is yours.  Beginners and the more experienced are all welcome.  You will get practical “hands-on” tuition; will be provided with comprehensive course notes, and details of where and how you can purchase the best value and quality products.

You will be shown how to choose the best design for your home, learn basic sewing and estimating techniques, and will make a sample to take home for future reference, along with your comprehensive course notes.

We are also currently offering courses in Cushion Making, Roman Blinds and Getting to Know your Sewing Machine.
