is run by Terry Masters.
Terry has considerable experience in Interior Design and
Curtain and Window Design and Treatments.
She trained at the National Design Academy
studying Professional Interior Design and Professional
Curtain Making and Soft Furnishings and at Newbury
College for Upholstery.
Terry has had her own Interior Design company for
over 15 years, TMM Designs and has undertaken many
projects in Berkshire and surrounding areas. She
also has a professional business background having
worked in London and overseas.
We focus on a
Curtain Design and Window Treatments Course.
Courses run from one to five days – the choice is
yours.
Beginners and the more experienced are all welcome.
You will get practical “hands-on” tuition; how to
make curtains, roman blinds and pelmets, together with
how to run your own soft furnishing business are the
basis of the Course.
You will be provided with comprehensive course
notes, and details of where and how you can purchase the
best value and quality products.
You will be shown how to choose the best design for your
home, learn sewing and estimating techniques, and will
make a sample to take home for future reference
A section on how
to set up your own soft furnishings business is also
included.
If you are looking to change career, or are a mother
with children at home wishing to find a subject which
you can work at home, with hours to suit yourself, then
this is the course for you.
Our other new key course is a two day
Introduction to Interior Design.
Bring along the measurements of a room you wish
to redesign and we will show you how to draw to scale
the room layout and plan the design.
You will focus on using a colour wheel,
examining different paint charts and wallpapers.
We will demonstrate how to choose the correct
style of window dressing for various window shapes, and
show you carpet and hardwood samples.
By the end of the course in Interior Design, you
will have comprehensive notes, have made a sample board,
floor plan and have paint charts to take away.

Making Course, a Roman Blind Course and a Course Getting to Know your Sewing Machine.
